2010 CD Player

Drawing on over twenty-five years of expertise Exposure Electronics has earned the reputation of engineering high quality products delivering exceptional sonic performance. Building on Exposures design expertise the 2010 CD Player redefines the performance envelope for single box CD players.

Housed in a rigid all aluminium chassis the 2010 CD Player employs a specially designed high capacity toroidal transformer combined with bespoke Exposure capacitors. Stiff enough to meet any challenge the power supply provides a firm foundation for maximum circuit performance.

Unique Exposure design topology utilises “class A” current to voltage conversion employing high current discrete transistors, needing no negative feedback to achieve low distortion and thus maintaining phase linearity. The class A gain stage again uses high current discrete transistors for good drive capability for filtering network.

Multiple regulated power supplies employ specially selected low noise regulators to provide power supply isolation and a clean distortion free signal.

The 2010 CD Player has separate 20 bit high performance multibit dac’s for each channel, using mos and bi-polar transistors to ensure optimum performance of each stage. Exposure uses an 8x over sampling digital filter together with a carefully designed system clock and a low jitter 3 beam laser.
