Forest

     This is the newest Totem speaker, a two-way floorstanding model that is surprisingly affordable, considering that it is a true super-speaker. It is a true Totem, we might add. For instance, its 6.5" woofer has the same 3" voice coil you find on even the most expensive Totem loudspeakers. That woofer and its aluminum dome tweeter, allow it to cover the range from 33 Hz to 20 kHz. Those aren't mere paper specs, either. The response is down only 6 dB at 28 Hz, a frequency most speakers can't reach. It is easy to drive: ensitivity is a reasonable 87 dB, and its impedance, a nominal 8 ohms, never dips below 6.4 ohms. It sits on polished metal feet that echo the "beak" resonator, which sits atop the speaker.
